An egret /ˈiːɡrət/ is a bird that is any of several herons
Admired and scorned is the Egret. Endowed with a sharpness of sight and the patience of a saint, they are regal in both posture and plumage, and a reputation as the scourge of every coy pond in California. My take on this is that the further we encroach upon the natural habitat of our neighbors of the wild, the more “creative” they must become to survive.
