Torrano Ave/Mission Blvd Utility Box – Mission Blvd. Classic Cars Series
Gas Pump: the Indian Motorcycle utility box mural had been plowed over by a car, so I repainted the box with a 1940’s gas pump instead.
1948 Indian Motorcycle: Indian motorcycles were manufactured from 1901 to 1953 by Hendee Manufacturing Company (in Springfield, Massachusetts), which was renamed the Indian Motorcycle Manufacturing Company in 1928. Indian’s most popular models were the Scout, made from 1920 to 1946, and the Chief, made from 1922 to 1953. Source: Wikipedia
